Selena Gomez is officially married.
The pop star and former Disney Channel actress tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco in a romantic ceremony reportedly held in Santa Barbara, California.
Selena Gomez shared a carousel of photos from the wedding reception on Instagram Saturday afternoon, captioning the post with the date: “9.27.25.” Blanco quickly chimed in with a heartfelt comment: “my wife in real life.”
A Classic Wedding Look
In the photos, Benny Blanco is seen wearing a sharp black tuxedo with a bow tie, while Gomez stunned in a white halter-style gown featuring a ruffled neck and sweeping skirt a custom creation by Ralph Lauren. She carried a delicate lily of the valley bouquet and accessorized with Tiffany & Co. diamond and platinum drop earrings. The newlyweds also flashed their wedding bands in the series of images.
The guest list was not immediately revealed. Selena Gomez has previously mentioned that her “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short were guaranteed to attend, but it remains unclear if longtime friends like Taylor Swift and Paris Hilton were present.
Selena Gomez and Blanco’s history stretches back nearly a decade. The two first collaborated in 2015 on Gomez’s album Revival, later working together on several tracks including “I Can’t Get Enough” (2019) and her 2023 single “Single Soon.”
For years, their connection remained professional, until a birthday party shifted their dynamic. In a May interview with Time, Selena Gomez revealed she realized her feelings for Benny Blanco had become romantic when she least expected it.
Going Public
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in December 2023, when Gomez shared photos of the two together in New York. Among them was a picture of her kissing Blanco, another showing him resting in her lap, and playful barefoot moments.
At the time, Selena Gomez hinted they had been dating for six months, writing in a since-deleted comment: “He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
Engagement and “Forever” Plans
Their engagement came late in 2024, with Selena Gomez announcing it via Instagram on December 11. She shared a photo of her diamond ring along with the caption: “Forever begins now.” Blanco responded with a cheeky, “Hey wait… That’s my wife.”
Marriage hasn’t slowed their creative partnership. Earlier this year, the pair released a joint album, I Said I Love You First… And You Said It Back. The 22-track record features collaborations with J Balvin, Gracie Abrams, GloRilla, and The Marías.
